Mining has long been the tradition of employment in these parts, but with the aging population, health care has taken over as the number-one employment opportunity for the younger generation. CNAs, LVNs, and RNs are all in high demand here, as are those with technological backgrounds. Keeping up with the virtual world is a major focus, as many parts of this state are extremely remote.
